Local Infiltration and Block Anaesthesia Course
The Dublin Dental University Hospital ‘Local Infiltration and Block Anaesthesia’ course took place on February 18th 2025.
Details for 2026 will be posted in December 2025.
The course is aimed at current Trinity College Dublin dental hygiene students and hygienists who have not completed this module. Therefore, please note that this is not a refresher course.
You must submit the following with your application to be accepted:
- Proof of Dental Council of Ireland registration
- A current CPR certificate
- Have an agreement from at least one dentist who will supervise your portfolio of experience (must be completed within six months of taking the course)
Reading materials are sent in advance of the course.
There is a one-hour written examination at the end of the course. 10 CPD points will be awarded on successful completion.
