Local Infiltration and Block Anaesthesia Course
The Dublin Dental University Hospital will conduct a ‘Local Infiltration and Block Anaesthesia’ course on Tuesday February 18th 2025.
The course is aimed at current Trinity College Dublin dental hygiene students and hygienists who have not completed this module. Therefore, please note that this is not a refresher course.
You must submit the following with your application:
- Proof of Dental Council of Ireland registration
- Current CPR certificate
- Have an agreement from at least one dentist who will supervise your portfolio of experience (must be completed within six months of taking the training course)
The course costs €325. The fee includes all the course literature and it should be paid online. Reading materials are sent four weeks in advance of the course.
There will be a one hour written examination scheduled after the lectures.
Places are limited for this course. The deadline for applications is with a deadline of 31st January, to allow time for the required reading and exam preparation.
10 CPD points will be awarded on successful completion of the course.
