Faculty of Health Sciences Annual Research Blitz

The Faculty of Health Sciences Annual Research Blitz was held on 16^th May 2024. There were three presentation categories Research Assistants, Postdoctoral researchers and PhD students. Each category had an award for the best talk. We are delighted to announce that Ross Quigley won the best talk in the PhD category out of 21 entries.

Ross was the only dental entry alongside 18 students from the School of Medicine, one from Pharmacy and one from the School of Nursing. Ross is nearing the end of the first year of his PhD with the DDUH. The title of his talk was ‘Regenerating Pulp: To Boldly Grow Where No Tooth Has Grown Before’. His Principle supervisor is Hal Duncan and he is co-supervised by Oran Kennedy in the RCSI.
