Research Award - BF and Helen E Dewel Award

Padhraig Fleming was presented with the BF and Helen E Dewel Award at the American Academy of Orthodontists Annual Session in New Orleans on 5^th May. The Dewel Award recognises the best clinical research paper published in the American Journal of Orthodontics in the preceding calendar year and was awarded on the basis of a clinical trial involving the comparison of fixed and removable functional appliances. Padhraig is the first orthodontist globally to have been awarded this prize on three occasions.
